Lots of NEW things going on... Film, Television, Video Games, etc...

Hey everyone! Hope you are all enjoying the first days of summer… it’s been incredibly HOT for ole’ Brim so far!!! I’ve been SO swamped as of late, back to the same old grind that I am used to. I have some phenomenal NEWS that I would like to share with everyone including the long-awaited trailer for “Killer Hoo-Ha” which looks as though it will be available by Mid-July (these things DO take time people, I appreciate all the e-mails asking for more info on the film). Meanwhile, it continues to be talked about on the Howard Stern Show which is a huge positive!

I signed on for the role of a character named, “Ears,” in Roberto Mitrotti’s upcoming feature film, “The Shoplifter.” I met with Roberto this morning actually to go over a few things for the trailer which is going into production early July, with the feature production beginning in Spring of next year for theaters. Also the beginning of July, I’ll be playing the role of, “Texas Mike O’Shea,” in Blinky Productions upcoming short film, “Escape from New Jersey” and I’ve also been cast by director, “Scott Goldberg,” for his film, “The Militia 15.”

I am extremely proud to announce that one of my concepts for a NEW television show has been picked up by a VERY prominent production company. The deal has been inked and Networks are being pitched as we speak. I will make sure to give everyone more information as I am contractually allowed. This will mark my first credit as an Executive Producer and I am VERY excited!!!

I am also happy to announce the signing for the production of the up and coming, “Brimstone” video game for the Xbox 360 LIVE!!! The game which is being produced by SGN Games will be based on the characters and storyline of the, “Brimstone and theBorderhounds,” comic book which will FINALLY be released in the next couple of months… YES!!! The initial four issues have been completed and will be available to the public VERY soon! I’ve been working very hard to ensure that all the projects I have been working on get any ‘loose ends’ tied up. Sometimes in the world of entertainment… you get backed-up with a ton of different projects and some take longer than others. It will certainly be a sizzling summer of 2010 though! Below is a quick blurb from the web with a temporary promo for the game:

Brimstone has partnered with SGN Games to produce a forthcoming, “Brimstone & theBorderhounds,” video game for the Xbox 360 gaming system. Work has begun on the game and numerous friends of Brim have already offered to, “pitch in” with music and appearances. Heather Leslie Castillo of SGN states, “We are tying up loose projects, then will go full throttle on the Borderhounds game!” All parties are excited about the project.

I finally had the chance to finish up the paperwork for the OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) show, “Searching for…” which will debut early next year on the new network. My former tag team partner, Carmine ‘Blast’ Azzato appeared on the show and there will be a plethora of footage with him and I as CoD (Carnival of Destruction). Between that and my appearance in Jene’ Luciani’s, “The Bra Book,” I’ve been continuing to somehow be mentioned on Oprah… crazy huh?

The last few months have been insane with way too many appearances and events to list! Some highlights included being a special guest panelist for Suffolk Community College’s LILTA event, the annual Biker’s for Babies event with Dee Snider. My first ever appearance for the Long Island Special Olympics and the list goes on…

I attended also two fantastic high-profile fashion shows with my daughter this past month which were for Forever 21 and Woo Shortstack. Both events were top-notch and it was great to have the opportunity to spend some quality time with my first born!

I’m just about finished with my interview for, “Large In Charge,” which I will keep everyone informed about once it’s published. Also, while signing over at the New Jersey Comic Expo this past weekend… I had the privilege of being ‘zombified’ by artist Nick Mockoviak! Make sure to check out his work!!!

Been Awhile huh?!?

Welcome to MY world

Ok, folks… I know, it has been awhile since I have had the opportunity to update the good ole’ BrimBLOG. Trust me, I have wanted to write to everyone for quite some time about everything going on!!! It has just been WAY too much to keep up with. Meanwhile, I have been spending a tremendous amount of time updating the website with my fantastic webmaster Frankie Lamberti. We are aaaalmost there, just have a few more tweeks to re-launch the “Entrance to Hell” photo gallery and Mega-Media page and we should have smooth sailing (freeing up a wee-bit more time to focus on the every day goings on of yours truly). One thing that I will say is that I apologize for the consistant hacking of the site. It has become a serious nuisance to say the least and I really appreciate all the support and e-mails I received on a daily basis wondering why the site was down. Well, I do believe that we are finally done with these issues (at least for now) but I suppose we can only take it one day at a time. I can say however that it is unappreciated and inappropriate for my site to be taken down for what a self-serving hacker did… hell, we didn’t even have the opportunity to TRY fixing it before the site was ’suspended’ by G-d knows who!

I’ll try and calm down now… LoL. Meanwhile, the NEWS section on the site has been getting more and more up to date (even with the recent hinderance), some NEW interviews were added to the Scriptures section & Magazines area and the What’s Next? Official Schedule will probably be updated soon as well… again, there was such a complete overhaul on ETH it was VERY hard to keep everything in proper order.

I DO have a couple of announcements that I would like to put out there… TWO of my boys have finally made it to the big time!!! VERY well deserved and I am proud as all HELL that their hard work and persistance paid off! It goes to show you that potential can take you places… First shout-out will go to Chris “Justin Cage” Barboza who I have known for almost as long as I’ve been in the wrestling biz. I remember him when he was a little kid and now he has been signed to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA Wrestling). Chris has been training down in Florida with the Dudley’s being seasoned for the big show. Let it be known that Justin Cage IS Brimstone’s little brother in the business!!! Next, my love goes out to another close friend, Don “Lamar Braxton Porter” Moore who has been signed to World Wrestling Entertainment… YES folks, WWE!!! I have to tell you that this was a LONG time coming as Don has phenominal abilities, not even mentioning his appearance and charisma. I firmly believe that you will be seeing him make a SERIOUS notch in the belt of professional wrestling in the very near future!!! Lamar Braxton Porter is now training at Florida Championship Wrestling under the name “Cable Jones” prepping him for the next level of his destined success. Please make sure to keep an eye out for them both!!!

For all my Facebook friends… I know you have seen some of the recent photoshoots I’ve done with photographers Holden Jay and Ash Ahuja. I literally had a blast working with Holden for the umpteenth time… I LOVE the “Brimstone at WAR” shots and it was insane taking the trip over to the mental ward for some other shots we grabbed that day (sorry about the motion sickness). I FINALLY got to work with my friend Sarah Hartshorne (America’s Next Top Model) in a Little Red Riding Hood themed shoot (with Ash Ahuja). Everything worked out tremendously with hair by Salon Rock, clothing by Shag, fangs by Matt James and the PERFECT location of Clark Botanical Gardens!!! LOVED IT… those shots will be up on the website soon enough, but for now they can only be seen by my ‘friends’ on Facebook. Here is a sneak-peek…
